are an integral part of a national movement to
expand and improve supported employment. This
dynamic resource is offered at no cost to people
with disabilities and their employers to
provide extensive job placement and retention
services. Businesses benefit from a skilled, diverse
and largely untapped workforce. Supported Employment
professionals provide technical assistance, job
matching and on-going support to employers and
consumers alike.
Kentucky APSE provides a strong voice
for Supported Employment when policy and funding
decisions are made at the federal, state and local
level. Your membership provides the foundation for
greater funding opportunities, professional growth,
expanded direct service staff and quality employment
services for people with disabilities.

WHAT: KYAPSE provides training
and technical assistance to leaders of supported
employment services through a variety of events,
forums and collaborations. Resources are provided to
service agencies and employers alike to assist in
the development of quality supported employment
opportunities.
WHY: KYAPSE’s mission is to
advance supported employment opportunities and
services for persons with disabilities and their
employers, acquire the information and access
necessary for quality service provision, and network
with area employers and supported employment peers.

you with quarterly newsletters about current trends
in supported employment in Kentucky and throughout
the United States. Policy updates, state and
national conference information, marketing
strategies and other pertinent employment
